Leading this ministry is Liz Raymond, who founded New Horizon Calvary Chapel with her husband, Senior Pastor John Raymond. Together, it is their goal to be role models as Disciple’s of Christ. Whether at church or home, Liz is fulfilling her role as a pastor’s wife, a mother of 3 and the Women’s Ministry leader.
Here at New Horizon Calvary Chapel we’re a group of ordinary women moving toward living extraordinary lives in Christ. The desire of our hearts is to impact our community and world for Christ while encouraging others to share that desire with us.
The Women’s Ministry for the Ladies of New Horizon includes frequent women-targeted Bible studies and outreach ministry, fun and fellowship throughout the year. We sponsor and participate in multiple Women’s Conferences as well. We enjoy the opportunity of getting together for our “Ladies Night Out”. This allows moms, wives, and other ladies to get out for the evening during the month without the kids. We also try to encourage participation in other activities such as, bowling, arts and crafts festivals, amateur painting, road trips to cultural and/or historical sights. These are the things that build relationships for unbelievers to open up and become a part of a fellowship that is designed to help them grow in their walk with Christ.
